He stopped by the Hincapie HQ yesterday for a little visit. He was on his bike, but you could tell it was more of a commute than a training ride. He's still recovering from his crazy month at the Tour de France. We're glad to have him back in town, and he seems happy to be back in Greenville for a while.

The Champs Elysees Never Gets Old

George just finished his 15th Tour de France and we're very proud of him and the BMC guys. Unfortunately some bad luck left Cadel Evans with a broken arm but the team rallied and did their best. Cadel soldiered on and showed his courage, much the same way George did last year with his collarbone. George will take some much needed rest and relaxation before his next challenge. Next up? The Tour of Utah. This will be his first time competing in the Tour of UT. George always loves racing in the US, so we’re sure he's looking forward to it. This will also be a chance to race with fellow Greenville training mate, Chris Butler. Thanks to everyone that cheered on George and his BMC teammates at the Tour.

Ready for the Tour

We're in Holland and ready for the Tour to start. BMC has a strong team and we're motivated to do well. The first week of the race is going to be tough. There are several cobbled sections and the stages can ride more like Classics then a Grand Tour. Cross winds and weather can play a big role in that area of the country too, so everyone will have to be attentive. Overall, it should be a pretty exciting race for everyone.
Ciao, George
